Hebrews 11:6 says, “without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

This web site exists solely for the purpose of pointing you to Christ that you may know him and grow up in him maturing to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. We are full of gratitude for His saving grace that called us out of darkness into His marvelous light to be a reflection of His life, to be salt and light to the lost, and ready always to give an answer to every man that asks the reason of the hope that is in us, with meekness and fear.

We believe as Proverbs 22:21 says, “that I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou may answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee.” Like of old, the queen of Sheba sent to know of Solomon’s wisdom. 1 Kings 10:1 says she came to prove him with hard questions and she was won by God’s grace in Solomon to answer many questions. So may we in some small way have a portion of God’s wisdom to answer those who have sincere and honest questions about the Christian faith. However, we do not claim to have all the answers to the difficulties of this life. But according to Deut. 29:29, we believe our gracious Lord has revealed sufficient knowledge and wisdom for us to navigate the dangers we face in this world until we, like all the faithful before us, cross the finish line and enter into His glorious presence. What truth He has revealed belongs to us and our children forever that we may do all the words of this law. Some things are secret and belong to God alone; but again, he has revealed all we need to know in this life.

In Psalms 131:1 David said, “my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or things too high for me.” God deals to each man a measure of faith so he can function in this life as a part of God’s purpose. As we pass the time of our sojourning in fear, no one man or church has all the truth but a measure, only God has all knowledge. Some have more light than others, not for the purpose of boasting, but for the purpose of preparing a bride without spot or wrinkle for his glorious appearing. God withholds no good thing from them that walk uprightly and seek him with sincere hearts. Proverbs 2:1-22 admonishes us to seek after truth with all our heart and it will guide you and keep you, and again Prov 6:20f reminds us if we will embrace God’s word and let it settle in our hearts, it will lead, keep and talk with us. The Christian life is a personal relationship with the living God and it is to be experienced on a daily basis.

Some will say we should not judge others. Yes, we should be very careful in judging, but the Bible also tells us to judge a righteous judgment. So we have a grave responsibility, as we walk through the minefield of this life filled with men who lay in wait to deceive, to discern good from evil and walk in agreement with God even if it costs us persecution, friends, and even our life.

Our sincere prayer is that God may open your eyes to behold wonderful things in His word and the eyes of your understanding be opened that you may know the hope of his calling, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when He raised Him form the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places. And we desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light....

In Christ,
Mike Guthrie, Pastor
